As a youth pastor it can be easy to get burned out and frustrated. Not only are you dealing with flawed human beings, but ones who are at a stage in life where their reasoning and ability to think is impaired by hormones and brain development.

It can be difficult to pour your heart into people and not see any results, but that is often the plight of a youth pastor. But don't get discouraged, you are planting seeds and the students are soaking in the knowledge and experiences. God is using you and the students are learning even if it doesn't seem like it.

In this life, we'll never have a moment where we can see the impact we've made. This side of heaven we'll never be able to see how the world would have been different if you weren't here, but rest assured that it would be and our job is to make an impact by loving God and loving others, and let God worry about the rest.
