Fancy building or building relationships?

What is your church building, buildings or relationships? It seems that many churches spend a lot of time, effort, and money in order to raise money to build buildings or buy the latest toys. These same churches can forget that what is important in a church is not where you meet but that you have a group of believers desperately seeking God together. I understand why churches want nice buildings and the latest technology, they think they are making the church more seeker friendly. They think they a providing a place where people will want to come. But where would you rather go, a nice building or a place filled with genuine love and relationships?

What does it say about the priorities of the church if we spend millions on buildings while there are millions of people dying every day of starvation? We have to be careful not to get caught up in the American dream at the cost of ignoring the sick and poor.
