Senior Pastors, Here is something that will help you in your ministry, a big solution to a big problem in our churches today... BE AVAILABLE!!! Many lead pastors/sr. pastors tend to be unavailable these days, or more so, an untouchable. Remember...the OT with the Cities of Refuge? Joshua 20:1-6, search it in Biblegateway. The roads to the city were plainly marked out, easily visible, and made for the person to see. Just as how we should be. The roads had easy access. Can't say much more...other than how we should be...easily accessible to all we are shepherding. Also, the cities of refuge all had names to assigned to them, names that resembled Christ. More to come on those names and their meanings. But, needless to say, a pastor of any church, should never be seen as an untouchable, or unreachable. Make yourselves known to your sheep, because they need your guidance.
