Organizing life groups based on stage of life is another great way to help people form friendships.  These groups make sure people have something in common that they can talk about and share.  A few common groups are:

Mens groups

Womens groups

Fathers groups

Mothers groups

Families with small children

If it is possible, we recommend providing child care for small groups and if you can provide free child care then that is even better.  These small groups are great for both outreach and growth.  It is easy to invite friends to a small group and taking care of child care remove a major barrier for people.  There are a lot of single moms, for example, that would love to join a womens group but cannot afford a baby sitter.  If you provide free child care, you would get those single moms and their friends and you could reach out and serve their kids.  Free child care is a  great opportunity to fill needs and serve people.
