Youth Pastors face a unique set of challenges. In youth groups you might have students who do not want to be there but are there because their parents want them to be. You might have students who are their against their parents wishes. You'll have students eager to learn and grow, and some students who seem to refuse to learn anything.

The youth of today also have more competing for their attention than any other generation in history. How do you get through and communicate the truth? The reality is that only God can really get through to them, but it's important to do everything we can to serve these kids in the ways that meet their needs.
